Bring learning French to life with your personal, native speaking, language tutor!

Learning a new Language can be a challenge for children and adults.

That is why some people consider private tuition, in order to give their children the extra bit of help they need to succeed in their exams or to help them increase their motivation and confidence in the Language.

Others enrol in conversational classes to refresh their language skills, for social or business purposes, opening up new opportunities and giving them perspectives they might never have encountered otherwise.

"A different language is a different vision of life." - Federico Fellini, Italian film director

ABOUT

Anne S.

M.A., PGCE

I have more than fifteen years of experience in teaching Languages in the UK and I currently work as Head of French in an Independent Prep School in South West London.

I am a French native speaker, born in North-Eastern France, where I completed a Diploma in English (Language, Literature and Civilizations) followed by a Master's degree to teach French as a Foreign Language, at the University of Nancy2.

In 1999, I moved over to the UK to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Nottingham. I started working as a Modern Foreign Language teacher in London, just after graduating in 2000.

I taught in a variety of Independent Schools in London such as Thomas's Clapham, Eaton House the Manor, St Augustine's Priory et alii. Throughout my career as a tutor and teacher, I successfully prepared students for French Common Entrance and Scholarship exams to various public schools, including Eton, St Paul's, Westminster, King’s College, Winchester and City of London.

I also led 1:1 business and recreational conversational lessons with adults across London.

“Anne’s lessons were always thoroughly planned and were designed to bring the best out of her pupils, irrespective of their ability.

Her excellent teaching brought about not only an understanding and enjoyment of the language but also Common Entrance and Scholarship success for the Yr8 pupils…” (Former Headmaster at Eaton House the Manor, Clapham)
